Journal of Integrated Cultural Studies(JICS) (Print ISSN: 3105-840X; Online ISSN: 3105-8418) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. JICS publishes two issues each year in both Chinese and English. 


Scope and Topics 

JICS aims to promote cross-cultural studies and is dedicated to publishing academic papers characterized by cross-media, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary approaches, showcasing a broad cultural vision. We particularly welcome innovative and cutting-edge research in fields such as interdisciplinary studies, digital humanities, game culture studies, science fiction culture studies, film and television adaptations, literature and cultural interactions, multimedia integration practices, and comparative literature and culture. Additionally, the journal welcomes critical reviews—including book reviews, film reviews, drama reviews, and music reviews—that explore cross-disciplinary themes, emphasizing intellectual depth and cross-disciplinary dialogue.


Open Access Policy

JICS is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
