说“意义权”

摘要：人类之所以成为浩瀚宇宙中难得甚至可能唯一的灵性生物，就是因为有“智慧”，具有用符号学的方式与环境做意义交流的能力。“意义权”是人类不可让渡的天赋权利，是人类之所以是人类的根本品质。就在最近几年，AI出现，以比人类效率高无数倍的速度处理意义，人类即将面临一个无需工作的时代，靠“高额生活补贴”豢养起来。此种几年内将实现的前景，首先冲垮的是教育，即培养未来人类掌握意义能力的文化机构。必须强烈呼吁：人类不能放弃“意义权”。AI只能作为人的工具，而不应该成为人类的主宰。尽快取得这种共识，是采取各种措施拯救人类于灭绝的前提。

Title: On the Right to Meaning
Abstract: Human beings have become the rare and possibly the only spiritual creatures in the vast universe precisely because they possess wisdom—the ability to engage in meaningful communication with the environment through semiotic means. The right to meaning is an inalienable natural right of humans and the fundamental quality that defines humanity. In recent years, the emergence of artificial intelligence has enabled the processing of meaning at efficiencies countless times higher than humans. Humanity is on the verge of an era without work, sustained by “high living subsidies”. This imminent prospect, set to materialize within a few years, will first devastate education—the cultural institution tasked with nurturing future humans’ ability to grasp meaning. It is imperative to appeal strongly: humanity must not abandon the right to meaning. AI should only serve as a tool for humans, not their master. Reaching such a consensus as soon as possible is the prerequisite for adopting various measures to save humanity from extinction.
